About Us
Founded in April 1992 as a
socio cultural youth organization to volunteer and partner with all relevant
bodies in response to the lethargy towards community development by youths
inherent in the Niger Delta System, the glaring lack of co-ordination or half
hearted efforts at development as well as existing distortion in the nations
service delivery system, all of which are instrumental to the extreme poverty,
underdevelopment and injustice in the land. the organization is at the verge of
incorporation with the corporate Affairs commission as an organisation
incorporated with trustees as it has evolved to a national voluntary body with
affiliation with the African Refugees Foundation (AREF), a voluntary development
body with a special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and
Social council (UNECOSOC).
The organisation aims to
advance the principles of planning and participatory development through
planning education and advocacy; information communication and technology using
the media and other available technologies and methods.
